EmitScan deploys certified field measurement instruments directly to your site and measures the exhaust gases your engines produce in real operating conditions. Each asset receives a signed combustion profile, an Asset Health Passport, and an ESG-ready Scope 1 emissions report.
Our foundation
We measure your assets' exhaust emissions and deliver an Asset Health Passport, combustion performance profile, and ESG-ready Scope 1 report for each asset — signed, dated, and instrument-certified.
Field operations experience spanning subsurface engineering, well services, and now industrial emissions measurement — across Europe, West Asia, Africa, and the GCC. EmitScan combines that breadth of field-level operational understanding with a specialist focus on industrial exhaust emissions measurement and reporting.
That background means we understand how drilling rigs, mud pumps, cement units, wireline units, and workover equipment actually operate — as working assets with real duty cycles, real maintenance histories, and real operating conditions. That field knowledge makes our measurements more accurate and our recommendations directly actionable by your operations team.
EmitScan is based in Muscat, Oman and operates across Oman and the wider GCC region, with particular depth across the Oman oil and gas, construction, mining, and maritime sectors.
How we work
From initial asset scoping through to passport issuance and programme management, every EmitScan engagement follows the same rigorous process.
We review your asset register, identify all combustion sources by type and location, and assign the correct ISO 8178 test cycle (C1, D2, or E3) and measurement protocol for each asset class before mobilisation.
Testo 350 MCERTS-certified analyser deployed on-site. Pre-test ASTM D6522 calibration check. Measurements taken at steady-state operating load. Ambient conditions, engine load, and exhaust data documented throughout.
Each asset receives a dated, signed report and an updated Asset Health Passport. Readings benchmarked against World Bank EHS Guidelines, Oman MD 18/2009 limits, and EPA Tier classification — with plain-language interpretation.
For Tier 2 programmes, emissions converted to g/kWh and exported in a GHG Protocol Tier 3 Scope 1 inventory format, aligned to GRI 305 ESG disclosure requirements.
Your secure portal is updated with all new asset passports, trend data, and documents. Your team has immediate access to every current and historical record across all measured assets.
Scheduled return visits — typically biannual — build trend lines, keep records current, and maintain your Scope 1 data package for annual ESG and sustainability reporting cycles.
What we stand for
We measure combustion exhaust emissions for industrial assets. That focus means deeper methodology, better instruments, and more defensible results than generalist HSE auditors can deliver.
No equipment to sell. No regulatory authority to satisfy. Our results are yours — unmodified, instrument-certified, and defensible to any auditor, regulator, or project owner.
A single measurement is a snapshot. A monitoring programme is a record. We build the longitudinal asset record that your organisation needs for regulatory defence, ESG reporting, and operational intelligence.
We tell you what the numbers mean — benchmarked, Tier-classified, and flagged with plain-language recommendations your operations and HSE teams can act on immediately.
